Harrison Cole

Harrison Cole teaches online piano and keyboard lessons during the school year and joins Jubilate for the Summer Intensive on piano. His main focus is intermediate through advanced students, with a particular focus in classical music; however he introduces all of his students to jazz and is skilled in teaching both styles and students of all ages.

 

Harrison was born in Hannibal, Missouri and began studying the piano at the age of six. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance from Eastern Illinois University. He then graduated from the University of Arizona with a Master’s in Musicology. He is a director, composer, instructor, accompanist, and performer. Although predominately classical, he is well versed in many styles of music and can support a musical group from a variety of perspectives. He began playing gospel music as a young child and has never stopped performing it. He loves working with students of all ages and enjoys preparing ensembles for performance.
