Saturday Music Classes​
Jubilate Conservatory of Music offers classes on Saturdays from 10:00am to 1:00pm at the Desert Foothills Library in Cave Creek, Arizona. Students of all ages are welcome to participate at different times during the three hour period. Adults may attend classes with their children.

​Saturday 10:00 - 11:15am | Jubilate Violin Orchestra
A course for very beginning players to advanced players for violin, viola, and cello, with a focus on music immersion and the joy of group participation. All students participate together in a relaxed setting learning the ins and outs of communicating the language of music with others; easily accessible for all ages. No tuition fee; registration required.

Saturday 11:15 - 12:00pm | Music from the Heart
A course for tots to teens in a family friendly setting where learning to sing, read, and move with the language of music is simplified in a joyful setting. This class is an excellent introduction to music and a great preparatory class for learning an instrument. A variety of percussion instruments are introduced, along with blocks and charts, simplifying the process for everyone! No tuition fee; registration required.

Saturday 12:00 - 12:45pm | Ring and Sing! The Bobcats
A class for students age 8 and up who love to sing. Singing simple songs and carols, this class helps students learn to sing with others in a choir. Hand chimes, which have a beautiful bell tone and a easily played by children, will also be introduced. Tuition and registration fees are required.​

Weekly Music Classes​

Tuesday 4:00 - 5:00pm | Wildflower Winds
An exploration into the world of winds for children ages 8-13. Students will explore brass and woodwind instruments in a petting zoo for band environment. By seeing, touching, and holding these instruments, students find easy access into the world of instruments while learning to play beginning recorders.​ Tuition and registration fees are required.

Tuesday 5:00 - 6:00pm | Coyote Chorus for combined Winds, Strings, and Percussion
A special music experience for students interested in learning about musical interaction with others in a modern setting. The class will explore winds, strings, and percussion instruments in an environment focused on musical teamwork. For students ages 9-16 who can play an instrument at beginning to intermediate levels.​ Tuition and registration fees are required.

Wednesday 4:00 - 5:00pm | Desert Strings
A course in an advanced string ensemble setting for violin, viola, and cello students who are comfortable with their instrument and can read and play notes up to the fifth position. Moving at a faster pace with a focus on technique, playing together in a group, and studying the different styles of the master composers, this class provides advanced students the opportunity to prepare for college ensembles. Desert Strings will participate in the end of semester recitals. Tuition and registration fees are required.

Wednesday 5:30 - 6:30pm | Carefree Ensemble
This class is for adults who play violin, viola, or cello who can read music and play their instrument in first position and beyond. Playing intermediate level music together, students increase technical skills, and their ability to play with other adult musicians in a casual atmosphere. The Carefree Ensemble will participate in the end of semester recitals.​ Tuition and registration fees are required.

Thursday 3:30 - 4:15pm | Littles on Fiddles
For students younger than 7, this is a very beginning level class for young children who are learning to work in a group setting and have a desire to play the violin. An interview with Laya Field is required to determine readiness for this class. The class overlaps with the Middles of Fiddles class for 15 minutes for a group session. Littles on Fiddles will participate in the end of the semester recitals.​ Tuition and registration fees are required.

Thursday 4:00 - 5:00pm | Saguaro Strings
For students ages 5-7 who have played violin for at least 3-4 months. Students will learn to read music in an easily approachable fashion and play together with others. This class moves at a beginning level pace with a focus on the joy of musical interaction. An interview with Laya Field is required to determine readiness for this class. Middles on Fiddles will participate in the end of semester recitals.​ Tuition and registration fees are required.

Thursday 5:00 - 6:00pm | Black Mountain Strings
An intermediate strings class for children through teens who can read music and play violin, viola, or cello in first position or beyond. This class moves at a comfortable pace where students play music together and learn the ins and outs of musical group participation in a light hearted setting. Black Mountain Strings will participate in the end of semester recitals.​ Tuition and registration fees are required.

Instrument Lessons​
Instrument Lessons​
Private instrument lessons are available for violin, viola, cello, voice, piano, guitar, percussion, recorder, trumpet, and composition students on-site and in-person with some options to learn online. Lessons are scheduled individually in consultation with the instructor. Students in private lessons participate in the end of semester recitals. Tuition and registration fees are required.
Violin, Viola, Cello Lessons
Private violin, viola, and cello lessons for students of all ages and levels are available at Jubilate Conservatory of Music. Laya Field specializes in teaching beginning and intermediate violin and viola students. Martins Steinblums teaches intermediate and advanced violin and viola students. Arabella Schwerin teaches beginning through advanced cello students, and beginning through intermediate violin and viola students.

​​​​Voice Lessons
Private voice lessons for students of all ages and levels are available at Jubilate Conservatory of Music. Laya Field teaches beginning through advanced level students. These lessons are gauged to the individual student in order to prepare them for their desired course of action. This would include singing in a choir, onstage in musicals, an operatic setting, or pursuing a career as a soloist.

​Online Instrument Lessons​
Private instrument lessons are available online for violin, viola, piano, guitar, and music composition. Sonja Prychitko teaches online violin and viola lessons for intermediate-advanced students. John Gogolewski teaches online guitar and piano lessons for intermediate-advanced students. Harrison Cole teaches online piano lessons. Lessons are scheduled individually in consultation with the instructor. Online students in private lessons have the option to participate in the end of semester recitals. Tuition and registration fees are required.

Online Music Class​
​Online Music Composition and Production Workshop
Students learn the fundamentals of composition and the ins and outs of collaborating with others while creating a group music video. This class consists of 6 private online lessons and 8 online group sessions. This class is limited to 10 students, ages 12 and older. Tuition and registration fees are required.
