Robert Graziano

Robert Graziano began playing piano at age three adding composition to his studies a few years later. By age twelve, he was working as a church organist and choir accompanist. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in piano with Baruch Meir at ASU, and works as an organist and ballet accompanist.

Robert received first place at the Wisconsin State MTNA Competition, second place at Nazareth University in Rochester, NY, and honorable mention at the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition. He has played for pianists Mischa Dichter, Marina Lomozov, Kun Woo Paik, and others in master classes, and received scholarships to perform at the Eastern Music Festival, and the Vianden Summer Festival in Luxembourg.

Robert teaches piano, organ, music theory, and composition for Jubilate Conservatory of Music at his studio in Scottsdale near Hayden and Shea. On Saturdays, he directs the choir at the Desert Foothills Library, co-teaching with Laya Field for Jubilate Conservatory.

Robert says, “I think music has value for everyone at every level. It gives you something beautiful to fill your head whenever you need. For children, especially, I think it’s important that they develop musically and have access to the world it opens up for them. I teach each student to their own unique abilities and desires to pursue music, but most importantly, I want them to understand how beautiful music is and how much better it makes the world.”
