Spring 2026 Adult Classes
NEW CLASS! Begins April 6 - May 18, 2026
Mondays 3:00 - 4:00pm | Carefree Recorder Class - Adult Class
Experience the joy of making music together with a beautiful instrument, the recorder. It's not just for children! The recorder is perfect for adults just beginning to learn the language of music, as well as those who have past musical experience, and especially those who appreciate a rewarding brain workout! This ensemble class will also share the social dimension of playing the recorder in a group. The class will move at a beginning level pace, starting with learning individual skills on the alto recorder and then blending as a group. It will feature a variety of styles of music from different eras, from medieval modes to country, courtly and chamber settings of Europe, to tunes that are familiar to us today. The recorder loves them all! Tuition and registration fees are required.
