Picking Up and Dropping Off Students

An authorized adult must come into the facility and sign the child(ren) in and out of classes.

 

Parking Lot Safety

Adults must safely park in the parking lot and come into the building to sign their children in or out on the register. Driving up to the facility and picking children up from the library entrance or parking lot is not an option. This is for the safety of all children.

 

Classroom Safety

For security reasons, there must always be at least two adults present for any classes taking place at Desert Foothills Library. If you can, please stay to observe classes.

 

Courtyard Safety

There must be at least one adult watching the children in the courtyard areas when children are present. We need this adult to scan the entire area for wild desert creatures before the children enter. This position requires a constant focus on the children. Do not engage in conversations or use cell phones or any other devices when you are in charge of monitoring the children.

Students on Break

JCM students are welcome inside the library during breaks. Older students are welcome to use the teen room. Please be considerate of others. Younger students must be accompanied by a parent or supervising adult. During break, we expect teens to be out in the courtyard, visible to the parent monitor, or in the teen room inside the library.

 

Volunteering

Jubilate Conservatory of Music is founded on the tenants of servitude and humility. As such, each family is encouraged and expected to volunteer when needed.
