18 Week Semester: January 14 - May 20, 2023
Mondays 4:00-4:45pm Beginning Violin & Cello Class
For students 7 years and older; students learn to play the violin or cello in a lighthearted setting with a class limited to 8 students. Instructor: Laya Field
Tuesdays 4:00-4:45pm Beginning String Ensemble
For students who know how to read music and play violin, viola, or cello in first position. Students enjoy playing simple pieces of music together in a group and increase their ability to engage with other young musicians. Instructor: Sonja Prychitko
Tuesdays 4:45-5:45pm Advanced String Ensemble
For students who are able to read music and play violin, viola, or cello beyond first position, focusing on playing different styles of music, the ins and outs of playing together in an ensemble, following a conductor, and increasing skill on their instrument. Instructor: Sonja Prychitko
Wednesdays 4:00-4:50pm Jubilate Choir & Voice Class
For students 7 years and older. Students learn how to sing different styles of music, including classical works, with others in a group setting and follow a director. Instructor: Laya Field
Thursdays 5:00-5:30pm Music from the Heart, Online
An online course for children 5yrs and older where students learn the beautiful and joyful language of music. Instructor: Aphton Fuller
Thursdays 6:00-6:30pm Untangling Ensemble, Online
A remarkable support group where students discuss the challenges of playing music in ensembles, how to overcome any obstacles in their playing, how to practice effectively, and how engage with one another in a way that makes music a joyful experience. For Advanced Students 10 yrs. and older. Instructor: Aphton Fuller
Saturdays 10:00am-12:00pm Jubilate Violin Orchestra
A wonderful tuition free course for beginners to advanced players for violin, viola, and cello, with a focus on technique, musicianship, and group participation. Beginning, intermediate and advanced students participate at different times with breaks to come back together at 11:30am for a final all level rehearsal. Instructors: Laya Field & Sonja Prychitko
Saturdays 12:15-1:00pm Music from the Heart
A tuition free course for tots to teens in a family friendly setting where students learn to share in the language of music; a preparatory class for learning an instrument. Instructors: Kira Cohen & Laya Field
Music Collaboration, Online
Students who take this course will have both private sessions with Mr. Gogolewski and also join classes with others signed up for this course. Mr. Gogolewski teaches students how to write their own music and also play in collaboration with others.
Private Lessons
Private lessons for violin, viola, cello, voice, piano, and guitar are available in person and online.
